Lifestyle Shoot

It’s been FOREVER since I posted.  sorry…..

Ok – I really encourage everyone to consider a Lifestyle Shoot.  I prefer candids over the basic portrait shots, but lifestyle is so fun and an extremely special treasure to keep forever.  Documenting your little ones, or family in your environment, doing what you do every day and/or what you really enjoy doing.  It take s special person to really appreciate how special this kind of shoot is.

Mom just loved it.

Dad thought it was funny that we did a shoot ‘in the playroom, in her pj’s?’.  hahaha

So when I first got there, she wasn’t sure what to think of me.

Oh, but she became comfortable very quickly…

Shooting for Myself…..And a new look-

Pretty Light, Pretty Girl – Not so pretty location – but that’s ok.  Mom was astonished b/c this location had a ton of trash around and some parts was off a street (not a busy street!).  Us photographers have plenty of secrets.  lol.  It’s difficult to find great locations in Texas without bumping into a ton of other photographers.  I’ve learned just use the light so location doesn’t have to matter quite as much.

This shoot and most of this editing was therapy for me – This girl is such a natural and I LOVE using her as a model and impromptu photo shoots -

I tend to just let the kids be themselves and go.  My camera is pretty fast, I’ll just catch what I catch.  Authenticity can be very artistic!:)

Oh – and for 2013 – I’m changing up my editing…. Hope you enjoy. :)

Mr. J was sad…..

So, so sad…..

Then Daddy came to the rescue!
