52 Week – Black and White

Well – this week’s theme is ‘black and white’ and certainly I do plenty of that.  But it’s been a while since I posted a Wall art post – and since a lot of my canvasses I have at home are of Black and White images, I figured I would put the two together.

My house is a work in progress.  Slowly changing each room.

I’ve never really bought a piece of art that I have not either painted myself, or took the image and had it printed on Canvas.   However, recently I did purchase something from Pottery Barn.  I have it in my living room – and will point it out below.

btw – I get all my canvasses from Canvas On Demand.

PINIMAGEA hallway. Lights and frames from Ikea.  I do plan to add more square frames – so there will be nine total to fill up that wall.  Some day…..

And the Wood America piece is the first and only piece that I purchased for this house that I did not have a hand in creating.  I got it at Pottery Barn.  To be honest, I was a little underwhelmed once it was up on my wall.  It looks soooo cool HERE.  oh well.  PINIMAGE

I painted those panels – I did not originally intend for them to be on the mantel, which is why one has a frame and the other doesn’t.   They are 24×60 wood panels I had made a long time ago and about a year ago I finally painted them.PINIMAGEPINIMAGE

I have six kids and only a few images up because I just haven’t figured out size and placement in my halls and family room. I do, heart your rooms. Sigh;)
